Can I clean tooth stains by…?
If i keep mouth wash in my mouth for a long period of time? I have a few embedded tooth stains that where formed when the teeth first grew and they cannot be removed by brushing. However if I was to leave mouthwash in my mouth for at least 10 minutes and do this twice a day would it soak into the teeth and eventually help the stain to fade?
I have heard of hydrogen peroxide and ive heard that it soaks into the tooth and bleaches the stain but i wouldnt know where to get it from and how to use it. So would mouth wash eventually soak into the tooth in the same way if left in the mouth for long enough?
Those tooth stains are pretty much permanent, but I’ve found that using white listerine twice daily seems to help. White listerine contains a small amount of hydrogen peroxide, which is both a whitening agent and a disinfectant.
Before commercially available oral rinses were invented, people used hydrogen peroxide diluted in water as a gargle/rinse agent.
